Linkin Park band vocalist Chester Bennington died by hanging himself. The owner's full name Chester Charles Bennington was found dead at his private residence in L.A. County on Thursday (7/20/2017) at 09.00 am local time.

Bennington's lunge in the music scene began with a band called Sean Dowdell and His Friends ?. In 1993, the band released their maiden work.

However, the name Bennington began to be known to the world alongside rock band Linkin Park (LP) as a vocalist. Bennington and his friends released their first LP album titled Hybrid Theory in 2000.

Hybrid Theory explodes on the market. LP joined enliven Nu music music trends with other bands such as Slipknot, Limp Bizkit, and Korn in the 2000s.

Nu Metal is a subgenre of Heavy Metal. Although appearing in the mid-1990s, the name of this new stream familiar to the ears in the 2000s. LP and Slipknot became Nu Metal's most popular band back then.

LP is thick with Nu Metal music character: rap fusion, scream (shout), and growl (growl). Bennington relies on scream, while the rap section is filled by his second vocalist, Mike Shinoda. Bennington in LP albums also often bring the sound clean or original.

But lately, the color of LP music began to shift into more nge-pop. Not even a few fans who were disappointed at the change. In an appearance at a music festival in France last June, Bennington was almost hit by a plastic pitcher from the audience.

It is said, the audience did not receive LP bring their latest pop song, Heavy. Even so, through his Twitter account, Bennington feel fun with the audience there.

Despite criticism, Bennington responded casually. He said Heavy would be liked by fans in the next 15 years.
