If you look further about Linkin Park's latest song, Heavy released in February, quotes News, it appears that the band actually hinted at having a mental problem.

"I do not like my mind right now. Stacking up problems that are so unnecessary. Wish that I could slow things down, "the lyrics said, noting that he did not like his mind filled with unimportant things and he wished he could get away from it.

He also seems to want to break free by dying, while in chorus singing, "If I just let go, I'd be set free." That is, if he took off his burden, he would be free.

The lyrics were also written by other Linkin Park personnel, Brad Delson and Mike Shinoda, with Julia Michaels and Justin Tranter. Linkin Park then admitted that their songs were inspired by problems in their sometimes frustrating lives.

Shinoda once said, when the song was written, Bennington was struggling.

Too many things happened to me. I feel like I'm under water, "said Shinoda told Bennington's expression.

Shinoda said, Bennington did not mess with words like 'drown' which he chose. "It's a feeling that too many things, like, 'Things are hard for me.'"

Heavy is the first song from Linkin Park's seventh album, One More Light. It was an album in which Linkin Park changed its stream to pop after being famous for years as one of the most popular rock bands in the world.

Bennington reportedly found lifeless in Los Angeles. According to TMZ report, he died hanging himself. Though only a few days ago, he still recording music.
